Satsang means "in the company of the truth." It is the practice of coming together to meditate or study the ancient yogic teachings passed down through the ages.
Everyone is welcome to this free program as a way of continuing and deepening your meditation and spiritual practice.
This program follows the traditional Satsang format; an opening of the program, a brief talk or quote on the yogic teachings, Questions & Answers, and a group chant and meditation. Bring your meditation journal!
This meditation program is an extension of Svaroopa® Vidya Ashram, where Swami Nirmalananda, a monk in the ancient Saraswati order, makes the highest ancient yogic teachings easily accessible to the complexities of contemporary Western life and guide seekers to the knowledge and experience of their own divine essence.
Svaroopavidya means, “The experiential knowing (vidya) of your own inherent divine essence (svaroopa).”

(I bow again and again to my inherent essence of beingness, the inherent divinity, the one divine reality, which exists within myself, within you, within all existences, and beyond….)
"Know your own Self. Honor your own Self. Find and be who you really are, at the deepest level of your own being.
Be present in your own presence. Give yourself the gift of your own Self." ~ Swami Nirmalananda
"Chanting is a subtle tonic that nourishes the inner being,
imparts spiritual strength and purifies the mind and heart." ~ Baba Muktananda
“When we come to Satsang, we keep the company of the great beings.
They are the most valuable resource to humanity.
We discover that place within us that is one with them.
They vibrate from the place of divinity within.” ~ Swami Shankarananda |
