In this challenging time, being in community is so important. That's why Ryoko created this Zoom Yoga for you :) 

It's really important for me to see YOU when I teach yoga.
LIVE ZOOM class in a small setting allows me to deliver our teachings effectively and safely to you.
The subtle suggestion makes a big difference in how each pose reaches into your spine!


Sunday class is beginner/newcomer friendly. I specifically designed our zoom classes so that you can use what you already have at home to support and you can open up your spine efficiently. They are suitable for all ages and are accessible to everyone from newcomers to experienced practitioners.

Either it's been a while since you had your last Svaroopa® Yoga practice, or you have never done anything like this to take care you before, it does not matter. I have created these online classes very accessible to those who are new.

Let's get together in our virtual healing room & learn the simple yet powerful tools to take care of YOU.
We end our practice with a short guided meditation and Peace Prayers to send our blessings to the world.
Shift our consciousness together!

All-levels Svaroopa® Yoga (90-min): 
​Wednesdays, 6pm - 7:30pm CT
Thursdays, 10am - 11:30am CT

Cost: The normal $20 drop-in is cut to $15 during this time - or use your class package.

Simple Spinal Sequence Svaroopa® Yoga (75-min): 
​Sundays, 4pm - 5:15pm CT
Cost: Donation-based. You can send your donation through VENMO (@RyokoHealing) or Paypal (HealingSpiritPayment@gmail.com); ​50% of Sunday class donations from the month of January will be donated to Open Table Nashville. RSVP ONLINE
*The cost for Sunday class is donation-based, but the space is limited. If you are unable to attend for some reason, please reschedule through VAGARO at least 2-hr in advance so that others on the waiting list can get on.; otherwise, you will be charged for a $10 no-show.

To prepare you for the class:
*Once you signed up for a class, you will receive an email "Your Class is Reserved with Ryoko" with the Zoom link (Join Live Stream). - This is sent out through Vagaro (admin@vagaro.com) . Please check under "Promotions" if you use Gmail.
*Be sure the email address in your VAGARO account is correct, or you won't receive the class link.
*If you have not used ZOOM before, download the FREE app before the class starts: https://zoom.us/signup
*For tutorial information on joining a meeting click here
*If you are new to our online class, please arrive online 10 minutes before start time (except Orientation Class) so that I can help you with ZOOM setting.
*It's VERY important to see you than you see me! - Enabling the camera on your device (phone, ipad, computer, etc...) is important so that I can see you and help with your alignment.
*Place the camera a few feet away from your head
 (see pictures below).
*Point the camera at you so I can see you while you are doing your poses. 
*Having light on in your room above, on the side, or in front of you will also help me see your alignments the best. 
*Make sure you have a space that you can set up without interruption from your pets or people you live with.

What do you need?:
*If you don't have Svaroopa® yoga blankets, you can use a chair/couch to rest your lower legs during guided awareness/breathing practice (See pictures below).
*Place a folded blanket on the floor to make your back comfortable when you lie on your back (Giving you a little cushion as a support) - This is very important especially if you have back pain/tight back.
*Have yoga blocks (It's ok if you don't have, but they are very beneficial), any blankets, towels/pillows/cushions, a chair (Metal folding chair is recommended; If not, like kitchen chair, something steady and hard sitting surface), whatever to support your practice and make you feel comfortable.

*Have your favorite essential oils handy that help you feel grounded & calming, like doTERRA's Adaptive (Calming Blend), doTERRA's Balance (Grounding Blend),  doTERRA's Peace (Reassuring Blend), doTERRA's Align (Centering Blend), doTERRA's Anchor (Steadying Blend), or Frankincense. - To learn more about How to Calm Anxious Feelings with essential oils, click here.

If you have not experienced Svaroopa® Yoga’s unique approach to your body, mind & spirit, please join us in Donation-based 75-min class (Sundays, 4pm - 5:15pm CT),
YOGA for Stress Relief, or next  Svaroopa® Yoga Newcomer Class with Ryoko.

When things are out of your control, you must remember the only thing you can control is the way you respond to what is happening - it's your mind. That is why every yoga practice targets your mind, and Svaroopa® yoga even takes you beyond your mind so that you can have the experiential knowing (vidya) of your own Self (svaroopa), even in the midst of the crisis.

The orientation class is a gift from me. Try out and see if this works for you. You just need to sign up (via Vagaro app) and show up in our virtual healing room! I designed the orientation class for those who haven't tried our online zoom class yet. I understand if you have not used these modern technologies before, you may feel intimidating. But I can show you how easy it is to use it. I will show you how you can set up your setting for the Zoom class. 


You will be guided through guided awareness (Yoga Nidra), breathing practice (you will be lying on your back with your lower legs supported), and the Magic four practice (The most fundamental four asanas of Svaroopa® Yoga) to open your spine. The four poses include all five directions of movement. They are suitable for all ages and are accessible to everyone from newcomers to experienced practitioners.
