In this 3-week course (3 class meetings over 3 weeks – 2 hours per class), you will learn the knowledge, experience and support to start your meditation practice or deepen your experience of your existing practice with ease and comfort.

You will also learn Svaroopa® yoga seated poses and propping to support a comfortable and effective meditation practice. Experience the power of the enlivened mantra and discover the capacity of a well-aligned seated pose to propel you more quickly and more deeply inward into sweet meditation.

About Ryoko (“Lyo-ko”): In 2011, Ryoko became the first authorized meditation teacher in Nashville TN, initiated by Swami Nirmalananda Saraswati, who is the originator and heart of Svaroopa® yoga. Swami Nirmalananda Saraswati has dedicated her life to bringing this ancient and powerful teaching to our modern day and to guiding others to discover their own inner vastness. Intense JOY & more energy:
I had been into meditation off and on, but I never got much from whatever I was doing (usually just noticing the breath, doing guided meditations, etc) more than a general feeling of relaxation, which is, of course, helpful. The first of the 3 meetings, when we meditated, I felt such intense JOY! I couldn't stop smiling, and my body started rocking back and forth on its own for a few minutes. After meditating this way every day for a few weeks, I stopped rocking but noticed I had lots more energy during the day and didn't want to fall asleep so early in the evening. I have had very interesting visions during meditations, and it's as if I finally have a good sense of who I really am, who we all really are. 

It's been a mind-opening year with Ryoko. The breathing, the gentle and simple yoga poses and the meditation, all done together on a regular basis, have changed my life forever.
